Some of our operational and financial qualifications include:
- Business management and/or grocery industry experience
- Willingness to follow the Save A Lot way
- Solid personal financial history
- Net worth of around $1m and liquid assets of $300K (we can work with outside financing)
- Readiness to invest in the community
Steps to Become a Retail Partner

Once you apply, we’ll review your personal and financial qualifications to see if it’s a good fit. We encourage our prospective Retail Partners to review our licensing agreement thoroughly.
Next, our expert real estate team will work with you to find a location that meets all of our criteria. We’ll be there to support you as you build out your location, and we’ll help you develop a plan for sourcing and other operations.
Then we’ll host a Discovery Day where you can meet the Save A Lot leadership team and get a sense of our company culture. This is a great opportunity to ask any remaining questions you might have. After Discovery Day, we’ll work on transforming your location and provide further guidance to get your doors open faster.
